Environmental Stewardship
The histogram presented below shows the distribution of perspectives on the critical issue of environmental stewardship. This was one of the issues identified in the Vision Edina Think Tank workshop as being important to the future of Edina. The community is growing increasingly aware of the environmental impact of the built environment and the importance of open spaces. This is coupled with a strong desire for the City to embrace more environmentally-friendly practices and services.

- Support for more environmentally-conscious practices is strongest among the younger respondents and women.
- Respondents believe that the community has an opportunity to be a regional and national leader in environmental sustainability.
