Transportation Options
The histogram presented below shows the distribution of perspectives on the critical issue of transportation options. This was one of the issues identified in the Vision Edina Think Tank workshop as being important to the future of Edina. Accessibility to the community’s many commercial districts and other cultural amenities is of clear importance to its residents.
Vision Edina Transportation Options
- There is a broad level of support for the expansion of walkability and biking options across all age groups and regions of the city.
- Support for public transit (i.e. bus and light rail) is less evident.
- Support for expanding transportation options is strongest among the young and the old, who crave options and accessibility.
