Regional Leadership
The histogram presented below shows the distribution of perspectives on the critical issue of environmental stewardship. This was one of the issues identified in the Vision Edina Think Tank workshop as being important to the future of Edina. The community faces increasing competition from neighbouring communities for residents and businesses. Edina has historically been viewed as an influential community in the Twin Cities and has a significant opportunity to regain that influence through innovation.

- There is a strong desire for a modest amount of change in this area.
- Respondents expressed a desire to embrace innovation and regional leadership in some areas, but not at the cost of Edina’s traditions and heritage.
- This consensus does not change appreciably across age or gender, with men being slightly more resistant to change.
